Peak Performance in 60 SecondsThe 4 Essentials to Maximise Your Energy, Resilience and Performance.

From over 30 years of research and exploration, Chris has created a cutting edge system to optimise the mind and body to maximise energy, performance and success.

Chris, a bit about my sporting background;

I have played sport from as young as I can remember. Growing up in the Midlands in the 70’s and 80’s like many sporty kids I played football basically all the time and rugby just as much.

My friends and I were heavily influenced by the Bruce Lee films in the early 80s and when a Kung Fu club opened up in our little town we were doing as many classes as possible. I am passionate about most sports from darts and snooker to rugby, MMA and the sweet science.

I have a lot of respect and love for martial arts. I gained my black sash in Lau-Gar Kung Fu in 1988. Back in those days there was no MMA, however I was primed when the first wave of kickboxing hit the UK in the mid to late 80s.

Once I got into kickboxing wow – that was it – I loved that training and competition. I started my own kickboxing club with two friends from 1989-1993 called Amington Kickboxing Club or AKBC to the hardcore few.

One of the guys became world cruiserweight champion in 1991. I was his main training partner. I was 21 and this level of training was off the chart intense and we were very, very fit. (As a side note, I won a much lesser title; North Midlands (small place😊) Middleweight champion in 1989.)

I started doing 1:1 kickboxing and circuit personal training and even had  the landlord of the local pub as a client and I trained him in the pub lounge when it was closed!

My love for sport, training and peak performance not only kept me on the ‘straight and narrow’ (just about), it gave me direction to go off to college to study a degree program in; The Science and Management of Health and Fitness.

From 94 I worked at a private health club and started a personal training business which was a new thing back then.

That went very well, and I was a busy boy and literally living the dream.

The club had professional squash players, skiers, rugby and football guys train there.

We not only had very fit bunch of gym members and high quality sports people, my gym team were a really fit bunch in their own right.

This type of environment breeds peak performance and pushing past boundaries.

I had gained a good knowledge in all aspects of strength and conditioning, exercise physiology, anatomy and biomechanics, exercise prescription and periodisation and sports nutrition and had been weight training since i was 12 years old.

Over the years I trained world champion and elite athletes and 1000’s of ‘normal people’ into peak health and fitness.

I’d listen as they told me about their life week in, week out.

I saw first-hand how the mind, beliefs and negative emotions would help or hinder a world champions performance right through to our everyday state of being, health, happiness and success.

I started studying the various and diverse areas of psychology and I started Peak Performance Mindset Coaching with my athletes and entrepreneurial personal training clients in 1998.

Move forward a few years and I’m now a performance psychologist.

I set out to find a way to change and re-program the limiting beliefs of the subconscious mind and eliminate anxiety, fear and self-doubt.

I used brain measurement instruments and cutting edge imaging technology, along with bio-feedback testing of 1000’s of clients to measure the effects of various meditative, brain and mind techniques.

This led to The Gamma Mindset Technique©.

This research morphed into a PhD study where I analysed the effects of this technique on people’s self-belief, confidence and performance over a 14 year period.

This research brought empirical evidence into the world of psychology and integrative medicine, that you can reprogram your mind for increased self-belief, confidence and performance.

Move forward a few more years and I’m now a Doctor of Integrative Medicine.

I do cutting edge precision testing of the body and mind to optimise health, energy and performance.

Over the years I’ve studied all sorts of stuff from the academic to ayahuasca…
